How to use the card:

Your card must be activated by the date shown within the SMS. To activate a digital card, follow the instructions on the SMS you received with your card information. You will be required to download the Universal Gift Card app and enter your mobile number and activation code. Ensure you have downloaded the Universal Gift Card app and have activated your card before use.

Once your card is activated, simply follow the instructions within the Universal Gift Card app to add your FAREPAY CARD to your preferred digital wallet. To add your card to your digital wallet, simply tap ‘Add to Wallet’ button in the app and follow the screen prompts. See full Terms & Conditions within the app.

You may also be asked for your CVV number which is available within the Universal Gift Card app.

Each FAREPAY card is valid for 36 months from the issue date and is a single load card.
FAREPAY card cannot be exchanged for cash, cheques, money orders or other payment instruments, or otherwise be used to pay accounts.
No change will be given. The balance of funds on a gift card after a transaction remains on the card for future purchases.
FAREPAY card will not be replaced if lost or stolen.
