In 2020, the Clontarf Foundation will assist more than 800 young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men to complete their Year 12 studies and then transition into employment or further study.

These are young men who, without the full-time support of dedicated Clontarf staff members, may not be facing such bright futures or be able to achieve such positive life outcomes.

How do donations help?

The Clontarf Foundation exists to improve the education, discipline, self-esteem, life skills and employment prospects of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men and by doing so, equips them to participate more meaningfully in society.

Clontarf uses the existing passion that boys have for sport to attract them to school and engage them in a supportive environment. Full-time, locally based Clontarf staff mentors help guide the boys through school and into employment or further study following Year 12 completion.

Clontarf currently caters for over 9,000 boys in 132 schools across Western Australia, the Northern Territory, South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
