Maija Louekari’s abstract Hyräily (humming) was hand-painted with a thick brush. Marimekko's Hyräily bowl is adorned with Maija Louekari's charming and carefree pattern from 2021. Named after the Finnish word for humming, the hand-painted motif depicts the rhythm of light-hearted humming. Hyräily draws inspiration from the unique beauty of everyday life – the relaxed striped pattern shows that everything doesn't have to be planned and strictly on point to be perfect.
