Enjoy one of the most unique horse riding experiences in Australia along Bakers Beach in the Narawntapu National Park. The National Park is on the North Coast of Tasmania and is home to hundreds of different species of wildlife that you could see on your horse ride. The park is home to Forester Kangaroos, wombats, pademelon, bennetts wallaby, sea and wedge tail eagles.

Ride across 7km of the pristine Bakers Beach on horse back. Ride across the mostly deserted beach on the sand or through the shallows of the water. You will even get the opportunity to swim with your horse if you are brave enough!

Fitness and Experience

• Maximum 100 kg weight per rider
• Minimum age 8 years old
• A low-moderate fitness level is required
• You should be able to mount and dismount from a horse unaided
• Not suitable for those who are pregnant

What to Bring/Wear

• Long pants and closed shoes (no sandals) - we provide safety stirrups so no boots required
• Bring water and snacks if needed

What is Supplied

• Allow 3 hours and 30 min at the venue (30min for paperwork and safety demonstration and 3 hours riding)
• We supply all the equipment
• Lunch and drinks are provided on the full day ride

More Information

• Minimum of 2 people are required for the tour to run.

Please note it is a requirement of our lease with the Tasmanian Parks & Wildlife service that we must inform all of our clients that they are required have a valid Parks Pass whilst visiting any Tasmanian National Park.

• Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
• Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
• Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
