Ever wondered what it’s like to fly silently over the landscape like a bird? This glider flight in Western Australia’s Heartland region could see you circling over the Avon Valley in the same thermal air currents as the local wedge-tailed eagles.

This graceful method of travel will see you sat comfortably in a fully-enclosed cockpit, perfectly positioned to enjoy fantastic views of the world below. Your pilot will be sat in the seat behind you, with complete control of the glider. You can sit back and let your pilot do the work, or you can begin learning some of the basics of flying yourself! And there’s no need to worry about not hearing instructions, as no engine means you can have a normal conversation without the need to shout.

Flights typically last for around 20-30 minutes before touching you back down, but this may vary depending on the weather conditions on the day.

Fitness and Experience

• You must weigh less than 110kg
• Children must be at least 12-years-old to fly
• You must be able to enter and exit the glider without assistance

What to Bring/Wear

• Enclosed shoes
• Sunscreen
• A small-brimmed hat and sunglasses
• Long pants and a long sleeve top are recommended to protect your arms and legs from the sun during flight

More Information

• Flights are available from 11am until sunset and will last between 20-30 minutes depending on conditions on the day. It is not possible to guarantee exact flight times.
• You may bring your own food and drinks on the day. Cold drinks available to buy at the launch zone. You will be required to sign a waiver prior to participating in the experience.

• Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
• Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
• Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
