Experience the thrill of learning to fly with this gliding introductory flight over Gawler by the iconic Barossa Valley. You’ll be strapped in the front seat with a qualified instructor in the rear and launched by a power plane to an exhilarating 3,000 feet.

Check out the modern two-seat fibreglass sailplane with your Duty Instructor who will show you around the glider and explain the controls. Then it’s time for take-off. Your instructor will conduct the launch and the release before it’s your turn to handle the aircraft.

Experience the excitement of shallow and sharp turns, slow-speed and high-speed runs, pinpoint landing, and just soaring high above the countryside. You’ll have a debrief after your flight to mark the end of your adrenaline-pumping flying lesson.
