Seiko's new Presage Classic Series blends Japanese artistry with advanced mechanical watchmaking. Featuring five creations, the series has dials inspired by traditional Japanese silk, reflecting light beautifully. Indexes and hands are shaped to match the dial's contours.

The series introduces four traditional colors: shiro-iro (unbleached fabric), sensaicha (Edo Period dark brownish-green), araigaki (washed persimmon), and sumi-iro (greyish-black from monks' garments). Each color imparts a warm, traditional luster.

The case design is refined and curved, with a dual-curved sapphire crystal complementing the dome-shaped dial. The 1970s-inspired multi-row bracelet features ergonomic, curved links for comfort and aesthetics.

Powered by Seiko's 6R movements with a 72-hour power reserve, the three-hand models use Calibre 6R55, while the open-heart models use Calibre 6R5J. Both movements have a gold-colored oscillating weight visible through an exhibition case back, ensuring the watches are ready to wear after a weekend without resetting.
