How do I book or schedule my Matchbox Twenty VIP Experience once I’ve purchased it?

After redeeming this experience, a team member from FAN+ will contact you directly within two business days to book, schedule or deliver your reward. They’ll be your dedicated point of contact to ensure fulfilment is smooth and seamless. 

Can I give this Matchbox Twenty VIP Experience  to someone else?

Yes, you can redeem this experience for someone else, including family and friends. We ask that you inform a team member from FAN+ upon commencement of aftercare. When speaking to the team, please provide the name and contact details of the recipient. 

Please note that Points Exclusives rewards cannot be resold under any circumstances.

What if I change my mind or am unable to attend the Matchbox Twenty VIP Experience?

Refunds or exchanges aren’t offered on Points Exclusives. 

A refund or exchange will only be provided if an event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated by the supplier (and you can’t or don’t wish to attend the rescheduled or relocated event). Or to the extent otherwise required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law). 

In the event of an unforeseen circumstance and the experience supplier can’t fulfil the experience, a full refund of Qantas Points will be offered.

You are, however, able to nominate a different date (if multiple dates are offered for the experience) or nominate other attendees if you are unable to attend the experience. To do so, you must notify the supplier to confirm the nominated party’s details at least two business days prior to the start of the event.

Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to this experience, which is offered as part of Qantas Points Exclusives in conjunction with FAN+ (“Experience”).

Terms and Conditions of Sale

Fan Plus International Operations Pty Ltd (ABN 41 627 253 436) (“FAN+”) provides this Experience as an agent for the venue, promoter or person responsible for holding the relevant Experience (the “Seller”).

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing an Experience. By purchasing the Experience from FAN+ and Qantas, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Private Transfers are for a maximum of 25km from the venue location only.

You are permitted to purchase this Experience for another party (e.g. family and friends). These Terms and Conditions will apply to both the original purchaser (“you”) and any nominated parties.

Variation to Terms and Conditions

FAN+ and Qantas may vary these Terms and Conditions at any time by updating them. Any variations will only apply to Experience purchases made after these Terms and Conditions have been updated.

General Terms and Conditions

FAN+ acts as agent for the Seller in the sale of all Experiences. As such, except as specified in these Terms and Conditions, all claims in connection with tickets or Experiences are the sole responsibility of the Seller and, except to the extent required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law) FAN+ otherwise has no liability to you.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • You are entitled to a refund:
    • if the Experience is cancelled; 
    • if significant changes are made to the Experience, and FAN+ and Qantas are unable to offer an alternative experience of equal or greater value which is satisfactory to you;
    • if the Experience is significantly re-scheduled or relocated (and you cannot or do not wish to attend the rescheduled or relocated Experience); or 
    • if otherwise required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law). 
  • If you wish to claim a refund, please contact FAN+. If you are entitled to a refund, the refund will be the amount of Qantas points that you redeemed for the Experience. The refund will be provided to the same Qantas Frequent Flyer account from which the Qantas Points were deducted. 
  • You should carefully consider the refund and cancellation policies of travel, accommodation and other goods or service providers when making arrangements to attend an Experience. You may also wish to consider taking out a relevant insurance policy to cover for any losses in case of cancellation, rescheduling or relocation.
  • FAN+ and Qantas do not offer refunds or exchanges as a result of a change in your personal circumstances or due to external factors such as, for example, adverse weather. 

Changes

  • You can nominate a different person to attend in your place if you are unable to attend the Experience because of a change in your personal circumstances, however, you must contact FAN+ at least two business days before the start of the Experience to provide the other party’s details.

Variations to Experiences

  • The Seller reserves the right to add, withdraw, reschedule or substitute artists, performers, teams or players and/or vary advertised programs, prices, venues, seating arrangements (including ticket categories) and audience capacity for each Experience.

Conditions of entry

Admission to an Experience is subject to the Seller’s Terms.  In particular, the following form part of the Seller’s terms unless otherwise specified:

  • You may be denied entry into, or removed from, an Experience where the Seller has reasonable grounds to do so, including if you breach these Terms and Conditions or the Seller’s Terms, or you are intoxicated, under the influence of illicit drugs, inappropriately attired or adversely affecting the enjoyment of the Experience by others.
  • If you arrive late, you may not be admitted until a suitable break in the Experience.
  • You may not be permitted to take into the Experience, or use, cameras or other photographic or recording equipment (including mobile phones).
  • You may be required to submit to a search of your person and/or possessions before entering the Experience.
  • By attending the Experience, you and each attendee in your group acknowledge and agree that you each may be filmed and/or recorded and you each give permission to the Seller, FAN+ and Qantas to use your image, likeness and voice obtained at the Experience in all media throughout the world for any purpose and without any compensation.
  • You agree to comply with all Government directions, orders and regulations relevant to attending live Experience, which may be in place at the time of the Experience.
  • You are responsible for knowing the contact details of all attendees in your group. If you are contacted directly by the Government, including the Department of Health for the purposes of contact tracing, you must: (a) make the contact details of your group available to the Government (if you have the consent of each group member to do so); or (b) contact each member of your group, and request that they provide their contact details to the Government directly.
  • When attending the Experience, you and each attendee in your group agree to assume all risks associated with COVID-19 or other such communicable diseases.

Authenticity and validity of tickets

  • Entry to an Experience may be refused if the authenticity or validity of a ticket is questionable, including because the ticket has been damaged or defaced in any way.

Resale of tickets & scalping

  • Experiences may not be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via on-line auction or other unauthorised resale sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. 
  • If an Experience is sold or used in breach of these conditions, then the Experience may be cancelled without a refund and the attending party may be refused admission. FAN+ will use reasonable efforts to notify you of such action.
  • SCALPING WARNING: The resale of tickets in certain circumstances is governed by ticket sales legislation and may attract criminal penalties.

Purchasing an Experience

  • Members must purchase the Experience via Qantas Marketplace to secure their chosen experience.
  • You can only purchase an Experience by redeeming your Qantas Points. No cash or card payments will be accepted.
  • Members are responsible for reviewing the details of the Experience and ensuring that they meet any specific requirements or restrictions before booking.
  • Experiences are subject to availability, and neither FAN+ or Qantas guarantee the continuous availability of any specific experience and are not responsible for any inability to book a specific Experience.
  • Members are responsible for any additional costs associated with the Experience that are not covered by the points redemption, including but not limited to transportation, accommodation, meals, and other incidental expenses.

Fulfilment of Experience tickets

  • After you have purchased a FAN+ Experiences, FAN+ will contact you to initiate fulfilment and provide relevant details about each Experience, including date, location, duration, accessibility and any other relevant information.
  • You must advise FAN+ when they contact you, if you would like a different person to receive the Experience. 
  • You must allow adequate time for collection or delivery of tickets. Methods of collection and/or delivery will be available when choosing your collection/delivery details. In the interests of minimising ticket scalping, FAN+ may change your delivery method to "venue collect" at its discretion. You will need to bring photo identification to collect your Experience ticket.
  • Where concessions are applicable, suitable and valid identification must be provided for collection of tickets and at the Experience.

General

  • The term “including” when used in these Terms and Conditions is not a term of limitation.

  • Please note that Qantas Marketplace Terms and Conditions also apply. By using Qantas Marketplace, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted those Terms.
