What are Points Exclusives?

Points Exclusives are a handpicked selection of experiences and unique-to-Qantas items that can be redeemed exclusively using Qantas Points.

How often will the selection of Points Exclusives rewards be updated?

New Points Exclusive rewards are released regularly. We suggest checking back frequently to see the latest offerings.

The Points Exclusives reward I want is 'Out of Stock, what does this mean?

If you see a Points Exclusive reward is ‘Out of Stock’ that means the allocation has been exhausted and therefore we have no more inventory that can be redeemed.

How can I redeem a Points Exclusives reward?

Points Exclusive rewards can only be redeemed using only Qantas Points and can’t be purchased with cash or Points Plus Pay.

What if I don’t have enough Qantas Points to redeem a Points Exclusives reward?

If you don’t have enough Qantas Points to redeem a Points Exclusives reward you can:

  • Use Top-up Points to buy the points needed for a reward (minimum 1,000 and maximum 150,000 points). Terms and conditions apply. 

  • Transfer points into your Frequent Flyer account from eligible family members with Family Transfers.

Will I earn Qantas Points when redeeming a Points Exclusives reward?

No, you will not earn points when redeeming Points Exclusives rewards.

How do I book or schedule a Points Exclusives reward once I've redeemed it?

After redeeming a Points Exclusives reward, a team member from Qantas Frequent Flyer (for Qantas Experiences) or the experience supplier will contact you directly to book, schedule or deliver your reward. They’ll be your dedicated point of contact to ensure fulfilment is smooth and seamless.

Can I give a Points Exclusive reward to someone else?

Yes, you can redeem Points Exclusive rewards for someone else, including family and friends. We ask that you inform a team member from Qantas Frequent Flyer (for Qantas Experiences) or the experience supplier upon commencement of aftercare. When speaking to the team, please provide the name and contact details of the recipient. 

Please note that Points Exclusives rewards cannot be resold under any circumstances.

What if I change my mind or am unable to attend an experience?

Refunds or exchanges aren’t offered on Points Exclusives.

A refund or exchange will only be provided if an event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated by the supplier (and you can’t or don’t wish to attend the rescheduled or relocated event). Or to the extent otherwise required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law). 

In the event of an unforeseen circumstance and the experience supplier can’t fulfil the experience, a full refund of Qantas Points will be offered.

You may, however, be able to nominate a different date (if multiple dates are offered for the experience) or nominate other attendees if you are unable to attend the experience.

You must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer to earn and use Qantas Points. A joining fee may apply. Membership and points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program Terms and Conditions.

Family Transfers: 

Transfers cannot be reversed or cancelled and do not count as activity on your account, or the account you transfer points to, for the purpose of preventing your points from expiring. Points that are transferred to a family member will be subject to the points expiry date that currently applies to the receiving family member's Qantas Frequent Flyer account. If the family member receiving the points has been inactive for an extended period, it is possible for the transferred points to expire at the end of the calendar month in which the transfer is made.

Top-up Points: 

If Members do not have sufficient Qantas Points to redeem a particular Reward, they may purchase additional Qantas Points towards that Reward at the rates specified by Qantas Loyalty. Points can only be credited to the purchasing member's account and are non-refundable. A minimum of 1,000 points and a maximum of 150,000 points can be purchased per transaction. Qantas Points may be purchased only to redeem a specific Reward, do not have a monetary value and cannot be converted to money. A Member may purchase additional Qantas Points four times in a 12-month period. Members cannot purchase Top-up Points online within 30 days of joining the Qantas Frequent Flyer program.
